This rich and delicious chutney was created especially for the Kings Coronation of 2023. I wanted to create a pickle with echoes of coronation chicken and a nod to the variety of flavours of the Commonwealth. So here it is, a mustard based pickle, think of a more aromatic and hotter piccalilli with added sultanas and almonds for that nod to the coronation chicken of the 1950's.
Tasting notes
Delicious on a cheeseboard with strong cheddars and cold cuts of hams and beef.
Add to your sandwiches for a more developed flavour .
Ingredients
Cauliflower, courgette, carrot, red pepper, shallots, sultanas, almonds (nuts) ginger, turmeric, mustard powder (mustard) mustard seeds (mustard) white wine vinegar, water, sugar, cornflour, salt, spices.

Storage
Store in a cool dry place, once opened keep refrigerated and consume within four weeks.
As we do not use artificial stabilisers in our products there may be some natural settlement. This is perfectly normal, simply shake well before use.
